Each signal is matched to real historical prices and followed forward to see whether the stop or a target was reached first. Commission and swap are not included yet. When one candle touches both the stop and the target, we count the stop.
R is the amount risked on one trade. A trade that makes twice the risk is +2R and a stop is −1R. It lets you compare channels without depending on lot size.
